Did anyone stay up to watch it on Sunday?

The whole thing take far too long. I'm sure the event is an advertiser's dream but for the viewing public the whole thing drags on. Black Eyed peas for the half-time show - I don't think so.

there is more excitement about the half time show than the actual game itself....it is far too stop and start...no all round talent is needed...if you can throw, you can be a quarter-back, if you are big and fast you can pretty much play anywhere

I think NFL is the most tragically poor sport there is. Any sport where you practically have different teams for the offence and defensive portions of the game is a joke. Yeah I would enjoy watching the teaser film trailers they show in breaks more than the game itself

i agree....you need be able to do both like in football strikers may need to contribute to defence and if not then that could mean being outnumbered at the back....american football is a joke

You guys are totally missing the point with football (American). It's an incredibly tactical game. Besides the brits invented some of the most boring sports around. Cricket ... what is that! And don't get me wrong I love golf, but it is boring to a lot people.

Soccer players are such overpaid, whimpy jerks as well. The amount of play acting that goes on the soccer field is the real joke!!
