Travel is great and it's always interesting to see new places, but I think this implies if you haven't traveled your life has gone unfulfilled and I don't think this is true. Travel is a luxury and some people simply can't afford to do it, but I don't think that means they haven't made the most of their lives.
Couldn't have put it better myself! What if you found the cure for cancer, and because you had dedicated your life to it you had never left your home country? I'd still say that's a pretty good life (to say the least) even without travel.
