Mine would have to be a cosy hotel with lots of beautiful walking during the day. I love Northumbria for this. Beautiful

I had a really good weekend here. Fantastic views from the restaurant and the food was absolutely superb.

A trip to Skomer Island of the south west coast of Wales to check out the puffins, seals, porpoise and other wildlife before a fantastic meal in the Clock House restuarant in Marloes village! :D

Anything that involves a good long walk and ends with a beer. I am staying in North wales at the moment and explored loggerheads park - it was good. devils gorge looked great but the weather was bit crap so by the end of the 8 miler i want totally wet!

Probably the Lake District or somewhere similar. Lots of walking and generally relaxing with good food and drink. The best breaks are the ones you take locally. I don't like spending the whole weekend travelling so an hour or two in the car is far enough for me. The important thing is to get away from home and the phone.

definitely away from it all somewhere remote, Snowdonia or someone similar
