Some of you must have endured some horror journeys or delays on your travels whether its been on the road, on a flight or even by boat. So what's been the worst trip or travel experience you've ever endured?
If you like your football then get over to Footyextra and join the banter.

Stranded at Zebrugge for a day and a half after a strike left our trip stuck at the port. Not a pleasant experience having been stuck on a coach for the the previous few days touring round Belgium, which proved to be dull in the extreme already.
Here, there and everywhere!

50 hours on a bus up the west coast of Australia and then to Darwin. Nice comfy coach, just so bored. Worst bit was getting out of air con into the heat. 45 degrees plus.

Nearly getting shot at the Czech/German border because a woman on the same coach had a suspect looking package and tried to open it in front of the large female german border partol guard. machine guns were pointed, harsh (german words) were said, there was screaming and I just happened to be sitting in the line of fire!

Hope this terrible experience didn't spoil your visit of Czech/German country, and you truthfully enjoyed it.

On overnight train from Budapest to Prague, guard came into compartment shouting "robbers, mafia" and some other scary sounding words in Hungarian/Czech and gesticulating that we should lock the compartment. This we did after he had gone and soon afterwards we saw a young man running along the corridor looking very frightened closely pursued by police with barking dogs.
A couple of nights later we had cameras and walkmans stolen at Prague Station, we'd been sat on one of those really low square bench things, with a small rucksack between our legs - think someone crawled under the bench and nabbed the rucksack. Took about six months to get the insurance money as well!
