Not yet got anything booked for this year's holiday. Just wondering where everyone else is going to see if any take my fancy, so where are you all planning on going?

There's so many places I want to go (all money pending), but would like to go a bit further this year - maybe somewhere in South America, quite like the idea of Malaysia too. Although, my bf knows someone who's planning on getting married in the States sometime this year - so maybe Florida plus another state?!
Have you got any ideas of where you'd like to go?

Aah I'd love to go to Florida again, it's my favourite holiday destination so far! If money was no option I think I'd head to Hawaii this summer, but as it is don't think my budget will stretch that far!

Hopefully back to near Obidos in Portugal.
Im going to be one of those annoying people that take a newborn on a plane. After over a year of not going away, and 8 weeks of sleep deprivation, I think my little family deserve to get away
Is bored of not running.

If I had endless cash I'd go to India and head into Nepal as well. This year I'm hoping to take my girlfriend to Italy. Bit more conservative.

What part of Italy are your planning to go to?

I've finally made a decision and am booking a trip to the Dominican Republic this year. Two weeks on an all-inclusive probably means I'll come back several stone heavier. First proper holiday break I'll have had in years

I haven't booked anything yet but will probably go to Croatia. Went there over 20 years ago when it was Yugoslavia - would be good to go back and see the changes, if any.
Ready to go!
I think I'm going to try and do some European city breaks - just pending on what's cheap and cheerful!

Try some of the East European cities. Go for a cheap Easy jet flight option and then you'll find some of the Eastern European cities good value, but not as cheap as they were a good few years ago.
It ain't half hot when you're running, mum.
Thanks redrobin - I'll take a look into it! It'd be great to find a few good offers. Any suggestions on good places to go in East Europe?

There quite few places in Eastern Europe that are popular with the stag/hen do crowd. Budapest, Riga, Krakow, Warsaw, Bratislava are just a few to check out for starters.

I like the idea of Budapest - will have to have a look for some cheap offers.

We have a cruise booked for May half term around the Fjords. Going with MSC cruise line this time (been on lots before). It's a great way to see lots of different places in one holiday and the kids are always really well entertained in the clubs, so Mum and Dad actually get some free time on holiday, worth every penny. Oh and MSC kids(up to 18) prices beat any other line I've found, only £100 for my 12yr old son for a week, thats accomodation, clubs and all the food he can eat ! :)
..
Not booked anything yet. Had considered going to Egypt and then it all kicked off. Maybe Greece or Turkey but I think I'll wait to see what disaster/political crisis is going to befall the world next before booking anything.

I haven't booked anything yet - but if the weather stays as nice as it has been over the Easter break, I'd be happy to stay here!

A staycation could be on the cards for me too but lets hope we don't have another summer of flase promise. If you recall Arpil and May were pretty decent but the the rest of the summer was pretty much a washout.
Do or do not - there is no try!
