Having failed at the London Ballot, I took my guarenteed place at Edinburgh instead. However, I've been reading such poor reviews, that I'm not sure anymore. Have they sorted out the probems now? Is it still worth entering or should I forfeit my fee?

Edinburgh was a distaster last year but up until then it was run really well. It used to be a grandstand finish at Musselburgh Race Course but they changed it last year....only for it to fail on many accounts. They received complaint after complaint and have already changed it back to a grandstand finish so friends and family can see you cross the line. It isn't at the race course but on the playing fields at a school. It should be ok. There's loads on as well so it should be a good day/weekend.
They tried something new, it didn't work and they held their hands up. Go onto the EMF website and you'll see the set up for race day.
Good luck if you decide to go for it,
Deek.

No probs. Also forgot to mention - weather permitting - it's exellent for a PB. Voted in Runners World in 2008, the fastest marathon course in Britain.
