This is a good half marathon to do as part of Spring marathon training. I have entered it today as am going to run with a buddy.
It is very well organised, good local support - which surprised me when I last did it in 2010 as Hastings does not really have a very good reputation....I was very pleasantly surprised and hats off to the locals.
First 6 miles are pretty much uphill, but don't let that put you off. There is a big old mass of runners pushing you on up the hill and that alone is worth going for....the feeling that you are not alone, and what goes up, does have to come down at some point.
Good run.

50 to do and will let you know when I'm there - but am still one ahead of Sir C de Custarde....oh no, hang on...am now TWO ahead......mwah ha haaaaaaa.
