Family trip to area

I am bringing my family with me from out of town. Are there any local attractions for us to visit?

If you are staying very close to the race, the Air and Space Museum (where the after race party is being held) is incredible. Not too far to the south is Kings Island http://www.pki.com [pki.com] that offers a bunch of family fun.

Depending on what your family is into.

As previously mentioned, the National Museum of the US Air Force is at the Start and Finish and they just added a new wing a couple of years ago.

In Dayton, there's the Dayton Art Institute as well at the Wright Brothers museum.

In Cincinnati, you have the the Reds, the Cincinnati Zoo, the Bodies exhibit, and the Newport Aquarium just over the river in Kentucky.

In Columbus, you have the Columbus Zoo, COSI and a whole bunch of other stuff I can't remember.

There is also Dayton Aviation Heritage National Historical Park and Boonshoft Museum of Discovery which used to be called "Dayton Museum of Discovery".
