So who's going to be at the Air Force Marathon this fall?

I will be in the 5k and the Marathon.
My wife will be in the 1/2 Marathon.
My mom and aunt will be in the 5k.

I am coming in from Chicagoland with my family and I plan to run the Marathon. My wife plans on doing the 5K on Friday.

I put in my 12 on Sunday! It's been a slow go increasing the mileage, but it's been nice to be losing a bit of weight in the process!

I'm also doing the 1/2. My greatest fear is the heat! Let's hope that we have cool temps---

Misty, You won't be utterly alone. You'll be with 10,000 of your closest friends. You just haven't met them yet.

Yeah, I'm in. I'm coming up for the marathon. Heat? What heat? We're training in 90+ with high humidity down here in Georgia. It'll be great!

My unit can't put me on orders (no money for fiscal year) so I'm going to have to fly Space-A. I really, really hope it works out. I'd hate to be training for months and not make a flight. I can't afford to pay for airfare, so here's hoping.
