Hi all yesterday was my first marathon and being a non runner i spent approx 7 months training. I was very excited and very proud to be present at the registration. I was saddened though by the lack of insight and thought placed into the goody bags. Clearly the person in charge had not thought that a can of beer, some white rice, a small tube of mens moisturiser and a mens razor were appropriate for both genders??!! How can this happen??

I assumed I got handed a male bag and that females would have thier version? Was that not the case the.......shame if not as, as you say it was male focused as my Mrs commented on the contents and we said at the time that there prob female versions.
Trying to help. Trying to learn and most importantly having fun running.
same thing happened to me, i got a male goody bag at expo and then a male goody bag at finish, filled with mens product. maybe i look like a man
I thought it had just happened to me! As far as I can tell, there was just the one goody bag. I was not so impressed, but I passed it on to my Mum's boyfriend, who was very pleased

I got a man one too dwspite being female. I just assumed they were all the same but not well thought out into the contents. It was disapointing, had to give it all away as its useless
