Health Poverty Action still has charity places available! If you want to transform the lives of the poorest and think you have what it takes to raise a minimum of £1800, get in touch! We will provide you with fundraising ideas and support in the build up to the race and a post-race reception where you can meet friends and family and enjoy a well earned massage.
Health Poverty Action provides basic but life-saving healthcare and health education for the worlds poorest people in Africa, Asia and Latin America. Any money raised in sponsorship will go a long way as in most areas where we operate, Health Poverty Action is the only organisation allowing communities to access health services.
If you would like to apply for one of our charity places please contact fundraising@healthpovertyaction.org with answers to the following questions:
1) Why you would like to run for Health Poverty Action
2) How you would plan to smash the fundraising target of £1800 (e.g. collection, dress down day, event, sponsorship from family and friends).
3) Whether your company runs a Matched Giving scheme (many companies will match a percentage of what you raise so it's worth finding out!).

Interesting that we are getting close to February and lots of charities seem to be popping up with Gold Bond palces still. Wonder how many will be left over this year?
Good luck with filling the places.
"We do the things we do not because they are easy but because they are hard"
I cannot believe they are still asking for £ 1800.00 at this date, when they are clearly having trouble shifting their goods.
Forum signatures are for wimps
To be fair, I think they'll probably all do OK. Let's remember, it's not exactly a low profile event is it?...and they are charities, so they can just write the whole thing off anyway.
