Someone to look out for during the Marathon...

Just seen this on the bbc website, a 101-year-old man ran in a 10K race in east London, finishing in 1 hr 17 mins.  He is also competing in the LVM this Sunday. 

I'll be definetely looking out for him, if I'm not way behind him!

I've just met a lady who runs sub 4hour marathons and is 75. Im Feeling very very slow now

Yes, he is quite popular, and I believe, the world record holder for 90+ yr group. I would be elated if I am able to walk without support at that age!

ooh that will give me something to look out for, i like looking at all the different people, takes my mind off the fact i've got to run 26miles lol

OMG - he is twice my age and still going !!Surprised Don't know if anyone else got the tweet from London Marathon about the Olympic Shooting test event - something else to listen out for - gunshots during the marathon !!
