just had my knee arthroscopy surgery...

All went well i think.  quite sore now thought.  it turns out it wasn't a torn ligament, it was a torn cartalige, with something else floating around too so it all had to be washed out.

How long shall i expect to be out of running for?  im wondering if i will be recovered enough for work on wednesday

i have my physio exercises to do each day - i wonder if they will actually do anything

Yuk.....well done you. just take it easy and get back to it gently when you feel better.~

If I remember I had to wait about 6 weeks or so before I got the all clear to run again, but I was told after the op I would be called back when they had analysed the post op pics.

I guess if you were not given guidance re rest time perhaps you should get back to the hospital or GP to clarify. There will still be some internal tenderness that might get easily agravated if you over do it.
