Berlin Marathon 2013 opened for entries at 12:00 noon CET and was closed around 3pm CET. 40,000 places gone in 3 hours.

  • ah I couldn't have done it anyway. My best friend is getting married on the 28th Septmeber and I'm her chief bridesmaid. Not sure she would have understood if I'd said I couldn't do it because I was going to Berlin to run... don't think it would have gone down to well!!

Can you imagine how fast the 15/20K places at London would go if they did the same?

fortunately I managed to get a place. very excited! Paris and Berlin next year.

Berlin is not on my list...for now....but maybe one day. I though Abingdon getting full up in 2 weeks was crazy enough !!  Laughing

That is amazing.  I entered quite late on in 2007 and got in with no problem at all.  Just shows how many nutters are out there.SurprisedLaughing
