Well after a couple of weeks of hell, injury, and the loss of my dear Nan, I am finally feeling good about my training again. Went to the meet the experts day on Saturday and it was nice to meet some of my fellow Muscular Dystrophy Campaign running mates. Also got addidas to look properly at my feet, turn out one foot rolls inwards the other outwards, always one to be bloody different. Anyway got some new trainers, been out twice in them now, and they are sooooo comfy at last. Also treated myself to some nice new kit.
Anyway went out yesterday and the run wasn't so good, felt a struggle and slow. Then went out this morning, and felt great, just ran as I felt and when I got home turns out I ran my best pace ever (8:20) felt stronger and still feel good now. Looking forward to my LSR at the weekend now, been dreading it up until now. Also my Nan bless her, had written me a card just before she died, and in it amoung other things she wished me luck in all my training and that she would be looking down on me very proud on 25th April.
