What magazine? is this for ballot place runners. I am a G.B runner for SENSE but I have never received any mag?

They've not been sent out yet. Everyone will get a mag I think in March detailing final instructions and that sort of thing. Big map.. lots of details on toilets, water stops, start lines, routes, where to go, how to get there. You get the idea. :) It also includes the form you take to the expo to exchange for your number and chip.

I have never had an issue with the transport. Coming from Croydon and not really being too sure of the way to get to the trains. All staff were extremely helpful and there are staff on duty to specifically direct marathon runners to whichever start you are at. And to be honest even if you get on the wrong one you can easily walk from one start to another, just follow the big ballooons!

Indeed. I imagine you will be stood/sat near other Marathon runners too. I remember going to London for the expo last year and within minutes of arriving on the tube platform I had spotted two other runners stood near me. Just follow the crowds. :)

I got one sent straight from Dogs Trust.  You will get the subsequent ones though, fear not!   I live in North London and when my train pulled in you could see the driver grin as he clearly knew where I was off too, when we got to Kings Cross he also wished all the marathon runners on the train luck and he hoped we got the times we were after which I thought was really sweet of him.

I've got a hotel in Docklands.

Am hoping that the DLR will take me to the start.  Shall be nervous enough without having to waste valuable mental capacity on working out a travel route.

London is a mystery to me - I'll end up somewhere entirely wrong...

The Docklands Travelodge (ah, yes, the height of style and ritz in the Big City Cool )

I think the closest DLR station is East India Road.

I've just noticed the route passes along the road my hotel is on. Will be tempting to nip in for a shower!
