Any advice appricated thank you.

I am in the process of losing my final 3 stone in weight after losing 4 stone. I speed walk three times a week and swim for an hour as well, is this enough for me to lose my final 3 stone or should I do more, if so what should excerise I be doing and how much weight should I aim to lose each week.

I feel having already succeeded in losing 4 stone in weight, of which you can be rightfully proud, that actually you already know the answers to these questions?

If you are still losing weight, then what you are doing is clearly working so stick with it. If, on the other hand, your weight loss has ground to a halt, you need to either reduce your calorie intake, increase your calorie burn, or a combination of both. 1 or 2lbs a week is generally considered to be a safe rate of weightloss, and it is also generally accepted that if you lose weight at this kind of rate, it is more likely to stay off than if the weight is lost more rapidly.

Weight loss equation is simple if you eat fewer calories and burn your calories, you will lose your weight. But if you eat more calories and burn them you will gain your weight. So you should eat few calories and burn your calories as much you can.

These following Exercise will help you:

i)STEP AEROBICS: Calories Burnt: 800 cal/hr.
ii)BICYCLING: Calories Burnt: 500 – 1000 cal/hr.
iii)SWIMMING: Calories Burnt: 800 cals/hr.

Swimming will definitely help you. You should try it and you will really feel the difference. It is the best exercise for our body.

Swimming is by far my favourite form of exercise. I always feel so refreshed after a swim.

I think Rob is spot on here, after you've already made so much great progress why change what's worked for you so far? It's not worth trying to find a quick fix to lose that final bit of weight, as you're likely to put it straight back on.

That's really good advice. Mixing your diet, exercise and resting will keep you interested and keep your body guessing too -it's not good to hit a plateau

There are some really good classes that you can take part - I've just tried body combat - great workout!
