RNLI and the New York Marathon

I'm running New York this year.!!!!!!!!

I have decided to run for the RNLI. I know talking to the gals in their office they have some paces left in the New York and Berlin marathons - give them a ring if you fancy joining up with them.

I have been really impressed with the RNLI so far - they are really helpful and have been really pleased with the support and help they have given to me - much better than other charities I have run for in the past (dont worry not going to name and shame :D )

The RNLI is a great cause and I'm really pleased that I am supporting them - they do great work and its all run on voluntary donations.........

Hi everyone - its me again! I think the RNLI also have a site here on Realbuzz as well - if you go to the charity listings under the NY marthaon and click on the RNLI's logo you will find further info and contact deails - think you can register there as well.

Sign up if you are thinking of running in the NY marathon and run for the RNLI - i dont want to be the only one running for this great charity

Its great to hear you are so positively enthusiastic about running for the RNLI - if you have got the running bug, why not take on our other international marathons? we've also got places in the real - Berlin and LaSalle Bank Chicago marathons for this year, so if you were interested in entering these, get in touch with us on events_gl@rnli.org.uk, or ring us on 020 7839 3369.

I hope training is going well for you - our fundraising pack has info on both training and fundraising - you'll also get a lifeboats professional running vest to run in on the day! Maybe an orange inflatable lifeboat as part of your running gear would interest you...?

Funds raised by you will help the RNLI to save lives at sea... be part of TEAM RNLI and keep the RNLI crews afloat!!!

Thanks for the post - great to hear from you! Thanks for the pack and the info about the NY marathon - they were waiting for me when I got home last night! They look great. Yeah training is going well and I am really looking forward to running for the RNLI in November.
