Travel arrangements - Any suggestions?

Hi everyone

I was hoping to find out a few things about travel arrangements to the Berlin Marathon - can anyone help?

Firstly, what airport would you guys recommend travelling to if someone was to travel on race day? And is the start/course accessible from that airport?

If the race starts at 9.00am on Sunday, any ideas on what time it would be good to get to the start line for?

Any tips passed on would be really appreciated!

I was wondering whether you had ever been to the NYC Marathon? I'm trying to pick a point at the finish of the race to meet our charity runners and wondered if you could recommend anything?
