BEST 10K in the WORLD!

I have heard so much about this race - How people come from all over to run it! I'm coming this year for the first time from the US, and wonder: What makes it so great? Why is it the WORLD's BEST 10K? Looks like a running party to me!

The World Best 10k is, as of today, the number one race in Puerto Rico. The runners here wait all the year to run this race. Is almost a flat route. Had a beautiful view of "La Laguna San Jose". Also the activities prior the race, like the Fitness Festival are great. You had to come to see it for yourself. In this race Paula Radcliffe break the world record in 2003.

I cannot answer specifically, but I have read that it is ranked among the 20 most competitive races in the world.

It was also the first race to be broadcast live through the Internet: audio, video and results.

It recently received a gold label by the IAAF...it was the only 10k given this recognition....so it literally is the wb10k.
