Maybe a dumb question

I don't mean any harm by this, but I don't get it.

10K isn't a difficult thing to run, though I enjoy the distance.

So why is this race such a big deal?

It's a beautiful route with great weather.....it also has the best runners in the world....has a world record for female...try it sometime!

I think I might. But it's rather late in the game to do so this year.

Will this forum still be here for next year after the race?

I think that the sport of running in the island of Puerto Rico is so popular because every sunday people from all parts of Puerto Rico run 5 or 10k maybe because is not only the race. i think is the quality time that this people will spend with their relatives, and at the end the race. the world best10k bring runners from every corner in the world , this and the people ,plus the Wheather on a Sunday afternoon make this event the best in the world. also all this great people behind this event working hard all year so we Coul'd be there every Febuary to enjoy one day of great running with the best runner in the world make this event special . if not why this event recive the IAAF gold lavel. :lol:
