About us
There are almost 1500 women diagnosed with ovarian cancer each year in Australia. Within 5 years only 40% of these women will still be alive.
ANZGOG has 450 dedicated cancer specialists, doctors, researchers and nurses as members. They lead teams at more than 50 hospitals in Australia and New Zealand conducting clinical trials research.
Since 2000, for the first time in Australia and New Zealand, ANZGOG has given women the opportunity to participate in significant clinical trials that are seeking effective new treatments for gynaecological cancer.
