Just had a book printed by apple using their Aperture 3 built in functionality. Results are excellent. Does anyone know of other book printing services so I can try and compare?

I was taking photo's at a run the other day an was nearly falling into a muddy bog for the sake of some photos and it got me thinking... What is the stupidest/most risky place you have taken photo's from?

I was wondering the other day. Where is the best place on a track to get a decent photo with movement? Corner or straight?

Tip - It's better to take too many photographs, than too little.

Tip - Pan with your whole body, and not just your head, when following moving subjects.

Hi guys me and a friend are considering building a website that will allow sport photographers to share and sell their photos. A bit like http://www.123rf.com/ but specifically for events like the London Marathon. Do you think photographers would use it? Thanks.

GarethParry 'Don't think of a site then ask 'Would photographers use this?' and instead try to understand what photographers are asking for or wanting, and build a site to that. Tailoring an audience to your solution is perhaps a bit backwards :)' 1 year, 10 months ago

I'm looking to get a new camera soon (got about £500 to spend, possibly a bit more if it's a good deal) - any suggestions?

CompetitiveCarl 'I would say it has to be either a Canon or a Nikon DSLR, they are both as good as each other. Do you have any friends who are into photography? If you get the same brand you can swap lenses (if they share)' 1 year, 10 months ago

GarethParry 'Just go into a physical camera shop and have a play around. Any Nikon or Canon at that price is going to be plenty good enough and much the same as eachother — just see which you prefer holding, and have a play around.' 1 year, 10 months ago
