Maximising the quality of life for people with neurological disorders

Brain and Spine Runner
ING New York City Marathon 2006

There are 10 million people in the UK living with a neurological condition. They affect all ages and people may experience the onset of a neurological condition at any time in their lives.

By choosing to take part in the ING New York City Marathon for the Brain and Spine Foundation you will help us to continue to provide reliable, appropriate, high quality information for everyone who needs it.

Your support will be greatly appreciated and will make a real difference for the future.

Your money will be used to:

  • publish a range of booklets on neurological conditions
  • extend the opening hours of our professionally staffed free telephone
helpline - a vital source for those in need of advice and reassurance.
  • fund the young person’s brain injury project
  • educate health professionals in diagnosis and management of neurological conditions
  • campaign for better statutory services
