The Grim Challenge

Do you have what it takes?!!

Grim is the name of the challenge and grim is how you will probably look by the end of it! But you'll feel GREAT!

Imagine having completed one of the UK's most unusual and thrilling events and raised funds to feed and protect vulnerable children overseas in the process!

The Grim Challenge is no ordinary cross-country course. Be prepared to RUN over hills and across rocky terrain, WADE through waist-high puddles and CRAWL under camouflage netting, all whilst soaking wet and caked in mud! We’ll be there to support and encourage you every step of the way, at a safe distance from the mud obviously!

The Grim Challenge is sure to be an experience you'll never forget so join team WER and show us what you're made of! Places will be snapped up fast so contact WER and book yours today. We ask our bond place runners to raise a minimum of £200.

If you already have your own place, you will also be welcome on the WER team.

As a WER runner you will receive:

  • A WER running vest.
  • Personalised sponsorship forms and help setting up online fundraising (usually JustGiving but it's your choice). We can even include a specific target to get you and your donors motivated. Click here for examples.
  • A dedicated events team to keep you motivated and cheer for you on the day.
  • Regular team e-news letter to which you can contribute.
