2010 will be the 30th year of the Virgin London Marathon and with Virgin as its new sponsor, it’s set to be the biggest and best marathon yet. Whether you choose to apply for one of our golden bond places or use your marathon place to run for Action for Children, we can guarantee an experience you’ll never forget.

To apply for one of our special golden bond places, please visit www.actionforchildren.org.uk/virginlondonmarathon. We ask all our golden bond runners to pay a registration fee of £100 and raise a minimum of £1500 in sponsorship. We also welcome anyone with their own marathon place to join our team.
Action for Children went out of their way to ensure that the marathon experience will live long in the memory. From assisting with fund-raising events, giving valuable training tips, (much needed!) encouragement from their team of supporters on the day itself to a fantastic post race reception, you will truly feel that you are part of a great team.
