Bank of America Chicago Marathon. Sunday 11 October 2009

If you’re looking for a flat course which features a superb start and finish area in the middle of a thriving city that’s easy to get to, then look no further!
Starting and finishing only a stone’s throw away from the city’s main hotels, The Bank of America Chicago Marathon is one of the world’s best races – and you will soon see why. With a perfect gradient, it’s no wonder that some of the quickest times ever run have been on this particular 26.2 miles.
The course meanders through the city, taking in 15 neighbourhoods including the Chinese and Hispanic districts, with massive crowd support ensuring that your eyes and ears will be tested to the max! There are plenty of landmarks to see – including the world famous Sears Tower, which seems visible at virtually every turn.
Getting to Chicago couldn’t be easier, with regular daily flights travelling to and from London and other regional airports around the UK. Accommodation is readily available across all budgets – but of course the earlier you book, the better the choice.
If you’re looking at an overseas marathon, make sure this one is on the list!
