This is your opportunity to join Action Medical Research and take part in Europe's biggest and most popular 10-mile run in Portsmouth .

The Bupa Great South Run is a fast and flat 10-mile course with a backdrop of beautiful scenery and passing many of Portsmouth 's outstanding modern and historic landmarks such as The Spinnaker Tower and HMS Victory.

Whether you are an experienced runner or just wanting to take on a challenge this is the event for you and Action Medical Research will be with you every step of the way.

In return all we ask is if you can help raise a minimum of £200 to help support Action Medical Research.

Action Medical Research has been making breakthroughs for over 50 years, and our life-saving work benefits babies, children and adults. The charity's successes include helping develop the UK polio vaccine, ultrasound scanning in pregnancy, the hip replacement operation, and discovering the link between taking folic acid and preventing spina bifida.
