Bupa Great South Run

The Bupa Great South Run is Europe's premier 10-mile road race and takes place around the historic city of Portsmouth. The event is suitable for all runners whatever their ability and the combination of the scenic course and great atmosphere is one not to be missed!

There are two ways that you can run for Breakthrough in the Bupa Great South Run; either through gaining your own place through the event organisers or by being allocated one of Breakthrough's guaranteed places.

Anyone that wishes to run for Breakthrough we would encourage to initially apply for a place through the event orgainsers. Entries open in January and you can apply online at www.greatrun.org. If your entry through this route is not successful you can apply for one of Breakthrough's guaranteed places. We have around 75 places that will be allocated on a first-come first-served basis to people that can pledge to raise a minimum sponsorship of £200.

All Breakthrough runners will receive:
