The British Red Cross 3 Peaks Challenge
26th – 27th July 2008
This is a really exciting opportunity to climb the three highest peaks in Scotland , England and Wales, all in 24 hours! You will need to get together a team of 4 – 5 walkers plus two support crew per vehicle who will play a very important role by providing you with food, transport and keeping you on schedule.
Your adventure will start on Saturday afternoon at the foot of Ben Nevis (4406ft) in Scotland, takes you overnight to Scafell Pike (3206ft) in England and finishes at the base of Snowdon (3560ft) in Wales with a well-earned party and awards ceremony!
Once you have registered, we will send you a comprehensive fundraising pack to help you to reach the target and a T-shirt for all your team. You will receive a handbook containing all the information you will need including training and nutritional advice, equipment lists, details of the route and lots more. There will also be a fundraiser on hand to answer any further queries you may have about this challenge and once you have signed up there will be an opportunity to attend a briefing session to find out more.
