Britain's top 10k road race, and one of the fastest growing running events in the world, saw 33,000 participants take to the streets of Manchester in May 2009 and is sure to be even bigger and better in 2010.

With bands along the route and our post run hospitality awaiting you, complete with masseurs, we'll support you every step of the way from the time you sign up to Team CF.

Entries open at 8.30am on Thursday 7 January. Places filled in just six days last year. For 2010 the race organisers are going to put the last 10,000 entrants into a ballot so there's an added incentive to go online and secure your place soonest!

Once you've got your Own Place, please use it to run with Team CF and raise whatever you can for us. Just hit the Contact Us button and we'll sign you up.

We also have Charity Places available in return for your pledge to raise a minimum £200 sponsorship for Cystic Fibrosis Trust. However, we would ask everyone to please secure your own place in the first instance; the more Own Place runners there are, the bigger Team CF can be and the more money we can raise for vital research.
