We'd love to have you run with us at the 30th staging of the world's biggest half marathon in 2010. This run offers an atmosphere unique to such a huge mass participation event, as thousands line the streets to cheer you along amidst over 54,000 others.

Ballot entries open at 8.30am on Saturday 9 January until Monday 8 February so please go online and apply for your place now! Applicants should hear before the end of February if you've been successful in the ballot or not.

You can also enter a ballot through the Daily Mirror until Friday 8 January to win one of 3,000 Great North Run places so why not register here too!

Once you've got your Own Place, though the ballot or the membership scheme, please use it to run with Team CF and raise whatever you can for us. Just hit the Contact Us button below and we'll sign you up.

We also have Charity Places available in return for your pledge to raise a minimum £325 in sponsorship for Cystic Fibrosis Trust, but, we do ask that everyone first apply to the ballot as the more own place runners, the bigger our team can be next autumn.
