"I've had diabetes for five years and control it with up to six injections a day. This was why the marathon was such an achievement for me. I had a fantastic time running the marathon and the Diabetes UK cheering points were great. The sight of my family cheering me on at mile 25 really spurred me on." Jan Jobson has Type 1 diabetes and ran the Flora London Marathon in 2005.
