Help us make a difference to the lives of 2.2 million people with diabetes, and at the same time, experience the warm welcome and excitement of Newcastle on the 26 anniversary of the BUPA Great North Run.

If you do not have a place in the race Diabetes UK still have a number of guaranteed places available. If you do have your own place, please consider joining the Diabetes UK record breaking team. Through your sponsorship, you will help to provide vital research work and support services such as our Diabetes Careline, that help many thousands of people each year.

As well as participating in the world's biggest half marathon, we'll once again be looking after you after the race. We have a large hospitality marquee where there will be refreshments, a masseur for those weary legs, and the usual enthusiastic welcome!
