Experience a race in the Big Apple. With more than two million spectators, and a route that takes in Staten Island, Brooklyn, Queens, the Bronx and Manhattan, the atmosphere is electric. 30,000 runners from around the world participate each year.
All JDRF’s guaranteed places in the event have now been allocated. However, if you have successfully secured your own place via the ballot, we would love you to join the JDRF Team Pingu. Pingu (the loveable penguin from the Antarctic) will be JDRF's Team Mascot for all its running events.
Runners joining JDRF Team Pingu will benefit from all the support that JDRF and Pingu can give including:
- JDRF 'Team Pingu' Runners Pack - containing sponsorship forms, information on the Charity, practical tips to maximise the effectiveness of your training and fundraising efforts.
- Information on how to create your own on-line sponsor page.
- Runner’s on-line discussion group.
- Free running shirt.
