adidas Women's 5k Challenge 2009

Sunday 6th September 2009

Hydro Active Women's challengeOur team will be led by Sarah Caltieri: Sarah who is now 27, was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes aged 7. Although she and her family coped fairly well with her condition, when she was a teenager she developed an eating disorder. This lead to her losing control of her blood glucose levels and, aged 23, she began to lose her sight.

This 5km fun-run for women is a great day out with no age restrictions. You can run, jog or walk around London's picturesque Hyde Park, Birmingham's City Centre or Liverpool's City Centre.

If you are successful in gaining your own entry then please let us know. We would be delighted to have you on the JDRF Team 2007.
