We need heroes to join our 150 strong Great North Run team before the deadline on Friday 25th July.
Make your miles matter with a fantastic and fun way to support Maggie’s. Step up today and join our team at this year’s BUPA Great North Run. Anyone can join Maggie’s running team whether you’re a seasoned marathon runner or a first timer and your Maggie’s team experience will be extra special and include:
- A confirmed place to run in the BUPA Great North Run
- A comprehensive information pack full of handy training and fundraising tips
- Regular communications including advice on training, fundraising and preparation for the big day
- Training t-shirt and running vest
- Friendly support every step of the way!
Maggie’s provides unparalleled emotional and psychological support for anyone affected by cancer. Our aim is to help people and their families live with, through and beyond cancer. There are six existing Maggie’s Cancer Caring Centres across Scotland and our first centre south of the border opened in London just six weeks ago. By taking part in this year’s Great North Run you can play a vital role in funding a new centre in Newcastle supporting local people in the North East of England. This is one of five new centres we have planned and we need your support to make this a reality.
