2008
The Bupa Great North Run has become one of the most important events in the annual running calendar and holds the title of ‘biggest road race in the world’. 50,000 people – including serious runners looking to improve upon a previous time, complete novices, fancy dress runners and celebrities - took part in last year’s race.
Run for us and while the road will be long, it won’t be lonely. We’ll go the extra mile with you, making sure you get all the support you need before, during and after the event including:
• A full race pack containing training and dietary advice
• Fundraising ideas and tips
• A personalised running vest or T-shirt
• Regular race information updates
• Access for you and your supporters to our post-race reception
• A goody bag for each runner
To join the Meningitis Trust team you’ll need to pay a £50 registration fee and pledge to raise a minimum of £300. Places are limited so hurry and register now to request your application form.
If you have already secured your own place with the Bupa Great North Run, why not run as a volunteer? Just register now to request your information pack.
