Bank of America Chicago Marathon – Sunday 12th October 2008
Become an NCH hero and take on one of the World Marathon Majors, raising money to help thousands of vulnerable children, young people and families.
Bank of America Marathon is a stunning city marathon. The race starts and finishes in the beautiful Grant Park and passes Lake Michigan, taking in fifteen of Chicago’s most colourful suburbs.
A fantastic marathon to run on a fairly flat course – with live music and over one million supporters lining the route.
NCH have a limited number of places for this World Marathon Major – all we ask is for you to raise a minimum sponsorship of £750 to help the most vulnerable and excluded children in the UK.
As with our other overseas runs, to cut costs and make sure we help as many children as possible, we ask you to make your own travel and accommodation arrangements, giving you the flexibility to make your trip into a holiday if you wish!
As a thank you, we will give you:
- A running vest and training t shirt to wear with pride
- Weekly training plans with nutritional advice from the experts
- A meeting point for the NCH team on the day
- A fantastic fundraising pack, including a guide to setting up your own webpage and innovative fundraising ideas.
- A dedicated NCH fundraiser, always on hand to help and advise
- A mini Chicago travel guide
Please take up this challenge of a lifetime and make a difference for long after you’ve passed the finish line.
