The ING New York City Marathon – Sunday 2nd November 2008
Running the ING New York City Marathon is an experience made of dreams – run for NCH and give children the strength to achieve their own personal goals.
Five bridges, five boroughs, and more than two million spectators make the ING New York City Marathon a race like no other. With music every half mile and an electric atmosphere, you’ll pass the Statue of Liberty, the Empire State Building and cross the finish line in the world famous Central Park – running can’t get better than this!
NCH have a limited number of places for this marathon – all we ask is for you to raise a minimum of £1500 to help the most vulnerable and excluded children in the UK.
To cut costs and make sure we help as many children as possible, we ask you to make your own travel and accommodation arrangements – meaning you can experience the Big Apple for however long you can take the pace!
As a thank you, we will give you:
- A running vest and training t shirt to wear with pride
- Weekly training plans with nutritional advice from the experts
- A meeting point for the NCH team on the day
- A fantastic fundraising pack, including a guide to setting up your own webpage and innovative fundraising ideas.
- A dedicated NCH fundraiser, always on hand to help and advise
- A New York mini travel guide
Please take up this challenge of a lifetime and make a difference for long after you’ve passed the finish line.
