What we do
Today in the UK, three people will be paralysed by spinal cord injury (SCI). SIA provides dedicated ongoing support at the moment of injury and for life.
Services such as our dedicated helpline, peer support, campaigning for change and research into the changing and adapting needs associated with SCI are an active manifestation of our belief that SCI is not a bar to a full, active and independent life.
A dynamic user-led organisation, SIA is constantly revising, rethinking and revolutionising its activities and needs your help to realise its core ethos: That life needn't stop when you're paralysed.
