A half marathon with a difference

Want a magnificent stadium finish? Then look no further than the Mizuno Reading Half Marathon.

What is the Mizuno Reading Half Marathon?

The Mizuno Reading Half Marathon takes a circular course, starting in Green Park and ending 250 metres from the race site, at the impressive Madejski Stadium. This half marathon is a road race that takes place in the city of Reading.

The race, now in its 29th year, is held annually in early April. The route, which is one of the fastest Half Marathon courses in the world, has remained unchanged since it began. This has proved popular and because the race is limited to 18,000 places runners are advised to enter early.

Every runner receives a medal and a goody bag and an impressive finale at the Madejski Stadium after their 13.1 mile achievement.

How do you get a place in the Mizuno Reading Half Marathon?

Runners can enter using the online entry system.

Run for charity in the Mizuno Reading Half Marathon

There are two ways that you can run for charity. If you have your own entry in the event you should contact the charity of your choice and let them know you would like to help them.

For those without their own entry, there is another option. All of the charities listed on the Mizuno reading Half Marathon site have their own entries and in return for a pre-agreed amount of sponsorship they may offer you a place. However they are likely to receive far more enquiries than they have entries. To contact a charity go to the charity listings. Go to the Mizuno Reading Half Marathon Top Events charity listings.
