Cystic Fibrosis is the most common life-threatening inherited disease in the UK affecting over 7,500 babies, children and young adults. CF causes the body to produce thick, sticky mucus that clogs the vital organs making it difficult to breathe and digest food. There is presently no cure for CF and 3 young lives are lost each week.
