Well runners, you certainly all proved yourselves wired for sound with our survey of your favourite running tracks revealing where you turn for your musical inspiration.

And this year, there were few surprises, with yet again the usual suspects turning up in our music survey of your favourite motivational running tracks.

For the third year in succession, there was no movement at the very top spot, but several new entries broke into the top 10, proving that at least some of you have your ears open for new music to put a spring in your step. Making a strong first leap into the realbuzz.com survey top 10 was a new entry from the Kings of Leon, who you crowned at number 3 with their anthemic 'Sex on Fire', while Lady Gaga and her uptempo electropop song 'Poker Face' came dancing in at number 10.

At number 9, and proving he's still 'the Boss', was Bruce Springsteen with his perennial favourite 'Born to Run'. Some of you clearly couldn't get any sleep, either through nerves or excitement, as Faithless climbed three places this year to make the top 10 at number 8 with 'Insomnia'.

Heather Small left many people feeling 'Proud', which made the top 10 for the third year in succession as a non-mover at number 7; Vangelis' theme tune to the classic movie 'Chariots of Fire' got the nod as a firm running favourite; and the Killers continued to provide a spark of motivation with 'Mr Brightside'.

Queen slid out of the top 3 for the first time, with 'Don't Stop Me Now' falling two places to number 4, and the top two spots were occupied by the same acts yet again - the Spencer Davis Group reminding you to 'Keep On Running' (number 2), while Survivor showed they had staying power with their knockout hit 'Eye of the Tiger', from the Rocky III soundtrack, claiming the number 1 spot for the third year in succession.
