About Me
Got into marathon running about 6 years ago as a way of escaping the stress of a busy life and keeping the old body fit and healthy. Married, two daughters now almost grown up, busy job, enjoy reading and holidays.
Reason for Joining
A busy job, a longish commute and occasional unsocial hours mean that it's sometimes difficult to fit in marathon training, especially in the winter when it's the old and slightly flakey treadmill in the garage. Hoping a blog will keep me motivated for the Paris marathon in 2012.
