I'm a newcomer to running and looking to run my first marathon next year at the Vienna City Marathon on 18th April 2010. I suppose I'm a serious hiker, having done many hills in the Lake District and Austria plus I've also bagged Kilimanjaro. However, I'm on the return from injury where I've suffered damage to both achilles - so I'm keeping a close eye on them during my training. Hopefully, I will pick up quite a few tips and benefit from others advice and experiences. For the first time ever, I will enter into the world of blogging and strive to keep it up to date throughout the training period. Any support whatsoever will me most welcome!
