I'm a New Zealander who moved in August 2008 to live in the UK with my English husband and our two kids, Campbell aged 10 and Arabella, aged 7. I have been running on and off for years (did my first half marathon back in 1997 - the Bristol Half - when I was last living here years ago) and wouldn't call myself a natural athlete but have become pretty hooked on running now. Running is my time for me with working, raising a family and trying to squeeze a million things into my day, it is so fantastic to head out the door into the countryside, listen to music and just run without anything to worry about except putting one foot in front of the other and having time for ME. And as an added bonus I can still indulge my love of wine and food without getting huge :-) 2009 FLM was my first full marathon, followed by VLM in 2010 where I shaved 14 minutes off my time and I could not have done it without the fantastic community here on Real Buzz! I am currently training for the Brighton Marathon 2012
