Kill Bill in a nutshell: Uma Thurman plays ‘The Bride’, who is seeking revenge against Bill and her former associates the Deadly Viper Assassination Squad for their ruthless slaying of her guests on her wedding day. After being shot during the incident, The Bride wakes from a coma four years later – and becomes determined to find those responsible and kill them one by one.

Why Kill Bill is inspirational: Admittedly, squeamish viewers may not be able to stomach the bloodletting that occurs throughout Kill Bill Vols. 1 & 2, but if you can bear to watch the ‘chop-socky’ action, you’ll be inspired by The Bride’s passion for revenge. There are also a number of flashback sequences where the main character is taken to Pai Mei, a great martial arts instructor who teaches her all he knows. The training is extremely hard and will tell you much about the determination, commitment and mental approach required to reach your goals.

Fact about Kill Bill: The two films were written and filmed as a single movie, but due to the very long running time of the original single movie version, they were re-edited and released as two separate movies a few months apart.
