Took 11 seconds off my 2km rowing record this evening, finishing in 8:28.6min. Enjoying my rowing more than the treadmill recently, partly due to leg pain and partly motivated by my improvement in rowing times. Still 29 seconds to take off before I reach my target so I'd better keep on improving.
More importantly, I've been taking my eldest to swimming lessons this week. It is a 5-day intensive course, 30 minutes per day. She seems to be doing ok. Hope to see some significant improvements by the end of the week. She's really benefitting from having a trainer and concentrating on learning. She prefers to play when I'm trying to teach her.
