York 10K

Posted on: 06 Aug 2012

Morning started off foggy - ideal conditions for both running and sneaking off to the bushes to avoid the queues :0

It was boiling once we got started and the dwarf mask soon came off. We started too far back and cursed ourselves later for getting so mixed up with walkers and plodders. The course was so tight in places there were no spaces for passing.

A respectable 1:02:25. Not bad on no training and I feel v enthusiastic about running and the Brid Half in October. I was 2731 position and 1038th female. 4108 runners in total.
